Even if you pay, this will not guarantee

There are a couple of places that are notoriously slow and problematic when it gets to submission. I would mention DMOZ, where the submission is free but it can take forever because your site needs to be reviewed by human editors. And, of course, Yahoo, when you try to register a site without paying their annual $299 for submission. Yet, even if you pay, this will not guarantee any great rankings or boost of traffic. So you might as well go and spend this money on yourself.

Anyways, there are plenty of sites that never paid for submission and never got registered at DMOZ, and, trust me, they are successful and doing fine.

If I still did not convince anybody, and you still have an urge to start submitting and resubmitting your web site, please, don’t do it on weekly or weekly basis. This will not help your web pages. If you site got into search engines databases, it won’t be thrown out even within a year. There is no reason on earth for search engines to delete hard-earned collected information out of a whim.
